Vote 4 Bikes.org
Ever wonder what your elected officials think about cycling? We did. So we set out to create a platform where politicians could share their positions on cycling related issues and cyclists could compare those positions side by side.
The idea is a simple one. Present the 2012 North Carolina Senate and House of Representatives candidates with seven questions. Then post their answers in a format that allows you, the voter, to see how your representatives stack up to each other. The website is a bi-partisan effort to identify candidates who support bicycling for transportation, health and recreation.
Not sure who your representatives are? That's OK. Just click HERE, fill out the short form and follow the links. Then simply use that information to see what your represenatives think about cycling.
Vote4Bikes.org wants to empower cyclists to effect change by making ourselves heard as a group. Together we can make a difference.
Vote4Bikes.org was developed and designed by Ann Groninger of BikeLaw.com and Jeff Viscount of WeeklyRides.com. Both Ann and Jeff are advisors to the Charlotte Area Bicycle Alliance Board of Directors.
Logo design by Jason Burke. Thanks Jason...it looks great!
